THE MONT SAINT MICHEL
50 minutes of Ernée, Mont Saint-Michel, in the middle of the bay, annually hosts nearly 3.5 million visitors, pilgrims and tourists. Mont dedicated to Saint Michel in 708, was, with Mount Gargan in southern Italy, one of the first place of worship of the Archangel. The abbey offers a complete panorama of the medieval architecture.
